“ I’m not sure when the idea of identity formed. Did the cavemen think it up, as they sat around the first campfire and pointed grimy fingers at the odd man out in his leopard skin loincloth?” Now that’s funny! Actually reading your ePortfolio made me realize some growth in writing/reading I hadn’t really picked up on until now. Usually when I read someone’s writing, I connect with those bits of humor and the places where our ideas might depart. Looking at “Extreme Home Makeover: Essay Edition, I found myself scanning through looking for how much synthesis you used and how well it blended into the essay. This is a skill I struggle with and realized I’ve probably opened 10 essays today just scanning for examples of how text citations were used. Maybe hope does spring eternal ;-)
